Bunny by Mona Awad – 3.5 stars I really still don’t know how to describe this one. I’d heard great things about it and been looking forward to it since it was first released. It’s a strange little book, but the satire of creative writing MFA programs is hilarious and spot on. Full Review
Come Tumbling Down by Seanan McGuire – 5 stars This is the fifth installment in the Wayward Children series, which deals with kids who have gone to other worlds. It returns to one of my favorite worlds from the previous books, and it’s so much fun.
The Companion by Katie Alender – 3 stars I had fun with this YA gothic thriller. The atmosphere is fantastic, and it kept me on the edge of my seat. But ultimately the characters aren’t well developed and some plot points don’t make sense. Full Review
Among Others by Jo Walton – 5 stars This is another absolutely stunning book by my new favorite author. It’s a beautiful fantasy about a girl at a boarding school who loves reading and can see fairies. Full Review
